A native of Connecticut, Britt moved to New York City after graduating high school to major in musical theatre at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
While still a student, she was cast as Olive Ostrovsky in the national tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which allowed her to travel across the country for nine months, performing in 45 states. Following the tour, she returned to New York to receive her BFA from NYU, and upon graduating was hand-picked by Nunsense creator Dan Goggin himself to play Amnesia in the production he directed for Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
A loyal member of Actors' Equity, she enjoys trying new restaurants, taking barre and spin classes to balance out eating at said restaurants, exploring the world (long live Tokyo!), reading non-fiction literature, perusing farmer's markets, and looking for typos in the New York Times. She is also a freelance writer, and her work has been published by outlets including New York Magazine's The Cut, Bustle, and VICE's Broadly.
